Our mental health awareness courses highlight the profound impact of poor mental health on productivity. 1. Mental Health Awareness for All Employees

This 2-hour course is designed for employees in any role who want a better understanding of mental health in the workplace. Employees will learn about a range of mental health topics and acquire tools and techniques to support their own mental health and that of their colleagues.

Topics include:

  • The difference between mental health and mental illness
  • The impact of poor mental health and mental illness in the workplace
  • The impact of stigma and how we can eradicate it from the workplace

2. Mental Health Awareness for Managers

This 3-hour course is tailored for those in managerial or supervisory roles, including those who support staff in the workplace. This course covers all the topics from the “Mental Health Awareness for All Employees” course, plus an additional hour focusing on managerial responsibilities in supporting mental health and wellbeing.

Additional topics include:

  • How to handle disclosures and have supportive conversations
  • How to support employees who are struggling with mental health conditions
  • How to support an employee who is off sick
  • Return to work interviews
  • Reasonable adjustments
  • How to support an employee with a Wellness Action Plan
  • Incorporating wellbeing into team meetings
